·Responsible for Supplier Value Optimization for STLA/GPSC/China ·Be responsible for VO/VAVE activities ·Carry out Monozukuri workshop at diverse commodity and processes and lead mind-storming to generate saving ideas. ·Lead cross functional VO events to identify potential, actionable changes to design, material selection, supply chain and packaging optimization, and etc., and that lead to cost improvements through the appropriate process. ·Monitor and report on VO performance, status, progress and pipeline to all stakeholders. ·Work cross-functionally with other functions at global level. ·Drive suppliers as well as cross-function for saving to be implementation. ·Build and maintain an active pipeline of VO projects.In coordination with Direct Material Commodity and Engineering, identify competing products and lead the initiative to gain insight to cost opportunities which may be applied to export products. ·Understanding of basic designing, manufacturing, product cost accounting, supply Chain are fundamental to the position. ·Fundamental understanding on Carbon Neutrality and Carbon Footprint evaluation ·To lead and manage the carbon strategy team in developing a program that will reduce the energy use, carbon footprint. ·Responsible for Supplier Carbon Neutralization and responsible for developing and monitoring agreed carbon reduction pathways and targets and report on the team progress towards Net Zero. ·To provide expertise and knowledge of the science, policies, technologies and environmental interventions associated with climate change including the international context and evidence base for carbon reduction targets. ·Collaborate proactively and effectively across service and organizational boundaries and build a strong network of committed stakeholders to deliver the councils carbon reduction targets. ·To actively seek future funding sources for de-carbonisation and proposals where possible. ·Responsible for developing and monitoring agreed carbon reduction pathways and targets and report suppliers’ progress towards Net Zero. ·Act as the GPSC/China lead specialist and technical advisor for the matters relating to energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
